Choose a Vietnamese city

Saigon

Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon, is a bustling, chaotic, and exhilarating metropolis with over 9 million residents and an endless stream of motorbikes. If you thrive in fast-paced, energetic cities, you’ll love it here. However, if you’re not a fan of traffic, noise, and tropical heat, Saigon might feel overwhelming.

Personally, I LOVE IT! The city’s dynamic atmosphere, street food culture, and vibrant nightlife make it one of my favorite places in Vietnam. From bustling markets to hidden cafés, Saigon never fails to surprise. Below, you’ll find my favorite spots in this incredible city!

Da Nang

Da Nang is one of Vietnam’s most exciting destinations, offering a perfect mix of stunning beaches, rich history, and a modern city vibe. It’s a place where you can start your day watching the sunrise over My Khe Beach, spend the afternoon exploring ancient caves in the Marble Mountains, and wrap up the evening with fresh seafood along the Han River.

With a population of 1.2 million, Da Nang sits right between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, making it a great stop for those traveling through Vietnam. Whether you're here for adventure, culture, or just a relaxing break from the crowds, Da Nang delivers.

Hanoi

Hanoi is a city that never slows down. Motorbikes fill the streets, street vendors call out their daily specials, and the scent of pho drifts through the air. It’s chaotic, noisy, and sometimes overwhelming—but that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

As Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi is a place where ancient history meets modern hustle. You can wander through the Old Quarter’s narrow alleys, visit the peaceful Temple of Literature, or sip on an egg coffee at a hidden café. The city demands patience, but if you embrace its energy, you’ll find charm in every street corner.

When planning a trip to Thailand, there are a few must-see destinations that should be on your list. One of the most popular cities to visit is Bangkok, the vibrant capital of Thailand. Known for its bustling street markets, ornate temples like Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Arun, and the lively nightlife along Khao San Road, Bangkok offers a mix of traditional culture and modern entertainment. Another iconic destination is Chiang Mai, located in the northern part of the country. Chiang Mai is famous for its historic temples, lush mountains, and as a hub for trekking and exploring the nearby hill tribes.

Thailand is also home to some of the most stunning beaches and islands in the world. The southern region boasts places like Phuket, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, and the Phi Phi Islands, which offer crystal-clear waters and incredible snorkeling opportunities. If you're looking for a more serene beach experience, consider visiting Railay Beach, accessible only by boat and surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs.

In terms of cuisine, Thai food is renowned globally for its exquisite flavors and diverse dishes. From the aromatic and spicy Tom Yum Goong soup to the savory Pad Thai noodles and the creamy Green Curry, Thai cuisine offers a tantalizing journey for your taste buds. Be sure to explore local street food markets for an authentic culinary experience, where you can sample dishes that perfectly embody the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors that Thai cuisine is known for.

No matter where your interests lie, Thailand has something to offer every type of traveler, from its rich cultural heritage to its stunning natural beauty and mouthwatering cuisine. Whether you're exploring ancient temples, relaxing on pristine beaches, or immersing yourself in bustling markets, Thailand is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.
